Congratulations to the entire Advanced Theatre and Advanced Tech Class: Carlsbad High School won 5th place Sweepstakes out of 77 schools from throughout Southern and Central California. The Advanced Tech Sets and Lights students won 1st place, Graphics and Publicity won 4th place. The Lord of the Rings group won 2nd place in the Screenplay Category, the stunning Carrie:the Musical earned 4th place, and the Radio Group’s The Hitchhiker was 7th. Also placing in the semi-finals were audition monologue performers John Norall and Jordon Simpkins, as well as the Five Kinds of Silence scene in Group Serious. BRAVO!!
